Silo/Sundial is part of a series of public artworks for Toronto's urban waterfront. It was developed as one of five winning concepts selected in an open competition. It examines the transformation of post-industrial artifacts, in this case an abandoned silo, into other unforeseen diverse elements. The silo is cut open and its interior transformed into a three-dimensional sundial.
