Unbuilding Ways staged the demolition of an historic but condemned cottage in downtown Toronto as art form. The building was severed, undermined, and capsized incrementally, seven degrees every two weeks, over the course of several months.

For thousands of visitors, the process revealed the illusionary, malleable phenomenon of architectural space, giving accelerated expression to the mortality of buildings and the evolution of the city. Concurrent and subsequent exhibitions reframed and reinterpreted the place/event from multiple perspectives.
